Nobody should have to fight cancer alone!

74-year-old patient was being discharged home from a short-term rehab and his wife informed the social work team that they were at risk of not having heat. We were able to fill their tank and ensure the patient who is very sick had a warm home to return to.

51-year-old female recently diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia needed assistance with securing heating oil as her unemployment had just ended and she was unable to return to work. The Live Like Brent Foundation stepped in and got her back on her feet.

83 year woman with blood cancer could not afford a wig after she lost her hair during chemotherapy. The hospital worked directly with a wig shop and used The Life Like Brent Foundation funds to pay for a wig for this wonderful woman.

22-year-old patient with Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma of the bone impacting his left tibia resulting in him being non weight bearing on his left leg. We were able to cover the cost of a custom brace that allowed for the patient to have greater mobility.

33-year-old man with Lymphoma found himself homeless and needing to rent a room. With the support of the Live Like Brent Foundation, we were able to pay the cost of rent until he found stable housing and could get back on his feet and focus on his treatment.

62-year-old was prescribed an expensive oral chemotherapy drug. His immediate response when he found out the cost was, “I am going to die.” Thanks to the Live Like Brent Foundation and their donors, this medication is now being covered!
